Religious and Piarist priest, of Bethany Province. Professor of Basic Education and Bachelor’s degree in theology at the Pontifical University of Salamanca and graduated in Hispanic Philology, major in Spanish Literature, from the Complutense University of Madrid. In the last 29 years he has taught as Professor of Spanish language and literature and Catholic Religion in High School, alternating this work with charges of Direction and Titular in the different centers in which he has been destined by his Superiors. Since 2007, he is in charge of the area of Pedagogy of his Piarist Province, and is currently the Provincial Assistant for Educational Works, Provincial Treasurer and Executive Coordinator of the Secretariat of Educational Works (S.E.W.) in Bethany Province.
The mission entrusted to him by his Province at this time is the coordination of the whole life of its centers and educational works. One of the aspects of this field is carrying forward the selection, recruitment and follow-up of new teachers in accordance with the Piarist identity.
This workshop aims to build team criteria for selection and training of educators in Calasanctian identity, as well as following them up once they are in our works, and searching processes and contents of training throughout working life, being faithful to the Calasanctian identity, from the spirit of commitment and involvement with the Pious Schools.
